Jax: A Hero To Our Community
We had the honor of taking care of Jax for multiple years. He was a police dog and highly intelligent. He showed his family, and human police officer partner, that he would do anything for them. When they walked into the room, even when he was medicated, he instantly stood up and love would shine from his eyes. Tragically that shine from Jax’s eyes faded to darkness leaving a void in the police force, with his family, and in our hearts at well. Thank you for your service, Jax. Thank you for being a hero to our community and your family. Good-bye our dear friend, you performed your watch valiantly.
“I know I speak for everyone when I say thank you for your service, Jax. Thank you for being a hero to our community and your family. On a personal note, I want to say thank you for showing me that “person” I respected absolutely came in the form of an exceptional dog. Jax, I hope I touch as many lives as you have; and I hope I can earn your level of respect. Good-bye, my friend- you performed your watch valiantly.” – Dr. Sarah Hoggan
The Giallorenzo family generously gave us this beautiful picture memorial of Jax. We have hung it on the wall in our lobby and are so grateful that his protective spirit can continue to watch over our hospital. Please say hi to him next time you visit us.
