Eileen Wong, DVM, Residency completed in Emergency/Critical Care
Dr. Wong graduated from UC Davis in 2014, after which she did a rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles. Initially interested in pursuing Internal Medicine during vet school, she developed a passion for Emergency and Critical Care. Dr. Wong completed a specialty internship at the University of Georgia and stayed on for an Emergency Critical Care residency. Before veterinary school, she worked as a hospital assistant at the California Wildlife Center and as a veterinary assistant in a general practitioner’s office. With a passion for pathophysiology, Dr. Wong is particularly interested in acid/base physiology and electrolyte disorders. She eventually would like to expand her practice to include renal replacement therapies. Dr. Wong has a tri-pawed pittie named Tater and two cats, Watson and Cricket. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, cooking, and of course, eating all the tasty cuisine that L.A has to offer.
