Jason Fuerst, DVM, MS

Dr. Fuerst grew up in Santa Monica, CA and graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and Neuroscience. He attended veterinary school at the University of California, Davis before completing his internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital, followed by completion of his residency in Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging at the Ohio State University. During his time at OSU, Dr. Fuerst also earned a Master of Science degree.
In the field of Radiology, Dr. Fuerst’s special interests include neuroimaging, computed tomography, and interventional radiology. He has published articles about liposarcomas and gallbladder disease with computed tomography in dogs. He has one cat, Guinness, and hopes to add a dog to the family soon. When not at work, Dr. Fuerst enjoys outdoor activities like hiking/biking, cooking, and spending time with his family; he is excited to be returning home to Southern California to continue his career.
