Nicole Skilling, DVM
Dr. Skilling has been in the veterinary profession for ten years. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Massey University in New Zealand. She held a position in Emergency and Critical Care at ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital. Her clinical interests are in emergency procedures and surgeries, management of critically ill and trauma patients.
In her free time, Dr. Skilling enjoys spending time with her husband, Bryan, traveling and doing outdoor activities including running, soccer, mountain biking, horseback riding and paddle boarding. She moved to sunny Southern California to escape the cold weather in Canada.
Her three other members of the family are her 12-year-old cat, Zach, rescued from Melbourne, Australia. Two German Shepherds, ten-year-old Moose, rescued from Calgary, Canada after being hit by a motor vehicle and abandoned by his previous owner and two-year-old Lucy, she was also rescued after being hit by a motor vehicle with no previous owner found.
