Virginia Fritsch, DVM, MS
Dr. Virginia Fritsch grew up in northern California. She earned her B.A. at the University of San Diego and then joined SeaWorld where she was involved in researching the harbor seals at La Jolla Children’s Pool. She completed her M.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UC Riverside and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis. After completing a prestigious one-year post-doctoral internship with an emphasis in emergency medicine and critical care at PESC she joined the PESC team as an emergency clinician. Dr. Fritsch enjoys running, biking, cooking, and baking. In her free time she camps, hikes and backpacks with her two amazing rescue dogs, Jade and Deacon.
